A brief History
The Donohoe's are a family where delicious home cooked food is very important so it is little wonder that food is so important to Shane.
Growing up in his mum’s kitchen where meat roasts were a speciality and Pouisson chickens a particular family favourite, Shane now cooks as much fish as he does meat and dishes from Asia and mainland Europe are as likely to appear on the Donohoe table in Limerick as the more traditional dishes from his childhood.
At college Shane was popular with friends and housemates by cooking the finest feasts. Shane met wife Nicola in college and some might say that he has kept his wife by feeding her for the last 20 years.
As the father of Emma, Conor and Rachel, Shane is hard pressed to produce tasty and healthy food for his young tribe. Naturally they are his toughest critics so he ensures that the recipes he cooks for you are tried and tested.
In 2010 Shane’s Cookery Kitchen was created. On a Saturday morning sitting in Shane's kitchen you would experience Shane cooking 3 dishes and then tasting each one.
In 2011, after 12 months of kitchen cooking it was decided to expand the cookery business into a full blown cookery school. The search for a suitable location started in earnest and after 12 months of planning etc. the cookery school is now a reality where Shane and Nicola share their passion for food and teaching in a premier location. We changed our name from Shane's Cookery Kitchen to "Recipe4Success".
In 2015 we have streamlined our offerings to Parties, School, Team-building and Public courses. We have a great team of chefs and facilitators to make everyone's visit a memorable experience.

As experienced business (Leadership, Personal development, Lean, 6 sigma & Project Management) trainers and lovers of all things food, we bring a broad diversity of skills to our cookery school. We understand how people learn best and as a result we have tailored our training programmes to meet all needs.
Whether it is a hands on cookery class or a demonstration, we are with you all the way. We always demonstrate the dish to be cooked, giving you a laminated step by step instruction recipe to ensure success every time.
Our goal it to offer a great experience every time. We create a fun learning environment where people enjoy themselves while learning to prepare great tasting food.

As we all lead busy lives, the dishes we create can be done in a short amount of time with the minimum of fuss.
